From little fins, big fins grow.
Canberra-bred tropical fish, raised with care and curiosity.
Lucky Finn is a small, Canberra-based fish breeding project focused on raising healthy tropical fish through careful, hands-on breeding and a genuine love of aquariums.
Run by Finn, a young aquarist with big curiosity and a growing knowledge of fish care, Lucky Finn began as a way to learn how breeding works - properly and responsibly. Starting small allows each fish to be closely monitored, well cared for and raised in calm, stable conditions.
Launching with albino bristlenose catfish and freshwater shrimp, Lucky Finn is building a thoughtful breeding program that will grow over time. As experience grows, so will the range of species - always with the same focus on care, curiosity and doing things right from the beginning.
Lucky Finn is run by Finn, a Canberra-based aquarist with a growing interest in fish breeding and aquarium care.
Lucky Finn began as a way to learn more about breeding tropical fish in a hands-on, responsible way. The focus is on small-scale breeding, careful observation and giving fish the best possible start.
As experience grows, so will the business, Lucky Finn - with new species added gradually and the same care and curiosity guiding each step forward.

About Lucky Finn
At Lucky Finn, breeding happens on a small scale, allowing time and attention for each stage of growth. Fish and shrimp are raised in controlled environments, monitored closely and given the best chance to thrive before moving on to their new homes.
Being locally bred means fish are already accustomed to Australian water conditions, helping support healthier transitions into aquariums.
From little fins to big fins, everything here is about learning, growing and doing things with care.
