These Wholesale Terms apply to aquarium shops and retailers purchasing fish from Lucky Finn. By placing a wholesale order or pre-order, you agree to the following terms.
1. Wholesale Customers
Wholesale supply is available to:
Registered aquarium shops
Retailers operating physical or online aquarium businesses
Lucky Finn does not currently offer wholesale pricing to individuals or private buyers.
2. Products & Availability
Lucky Finn supplies locally bred tropical fish and freshwater shrimp, raised in small batches.
Stock availability:
Is limited and dependent on breeding cycles
May vary by species, size and timing
Will always be discussed and confirmed prior to supply
All information provided about availability is indicative only until confirmed.
3. Pre-Orders
Pre-orders are encouraged, particularly for larger quantities.
Pre-orders allow Lucky Finn to:
Plan breeding cycles responsibly
Grow fish to appropriate size
Maintain quality and welfare standards
Pre-orders should be placed several weeks in advance, depending on species and quantity. Timeframes will be discussed clearly at the time of enquiry.
4. Minimum Quantities
Minimum order quantities may apply depending on species and availability.
Because Lucky Finn operates on a small scale, not all requests for large quantities can be fulfilled immediately. Where possible, larger orders may be staged or supplied over time through pre-arranged batches.
5. Pricing
Wholesale pricing:
Is provided upon enquiry
May vary by species, size and quantity
Is subject to change as breeding costs and availability fluctuate
All pricing will be confirmed before any order is finalised.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of order and may include:
Payment prior to collection
Deposit for larger pre-orders
Orders are not confirmed until payment terms have been agreed to.
7. Collection & Transport
Fish are supplied locally and handled carefully to minimise stress.
Collection or delivery arrangements:
Will be discussed and agreed upon directly
Must align with fish welfare and suitable timing
Retailers are responsible for ensuring appropriate transport conditions once fish leave Lucky Finn’s care.
8. Fish Welfare & Responsibility
Lucky Finn takes care to supply healthy, well-raised fish. Once fish are collected or delivered, responsibility for care transfers to the retailer.
Lucky Finn is not responsible for losses resulting from:
Transport conditions beyond our control
Incompatible tank conditions
Improper acclimatisation
Retailers are encouraged to follow best-practice acclimatisation procedures.
9. Growing Program
Lucky Finn is a developing breeding project. Species range and quantities will expand gradually over time.
Retailers are welcome to:
Register interest in future species
Discuss forward planning and pre-orders
Provide feedback to support ongoing improvement
10. Communication
Lucky Finn values clear, respectful and realistic communication. As a small operation, response times may vary slightly, but all enquiries will be responded to as promptly as possible.
